
How to download & Install Java in Windows?

Java stands out as a highly popular computer programming language usable on various computer types. It earns its reputation for simplicity and versatility, as it operates on a wide range of systems. Many people have been using Java for a long time.
In this article, we’re going to show you how to get Java on your computer. We’ll explain all the steps. We’re doing this on a Windows 11 computer, but it’s pretty much the same on other types of computers too.
How to Install Java in Windows?
To download Java in your computer follow the given instructions
Step-1: Type https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/ url in the browser and it will navigate to the official Oracle Java downloads page. Just Scroll down this page slowly & you will see the interface like this –
Here you have to click on windows and after that you have to install x64 Installer.
Step-2: After downloading it. Go to your download folder or open this file from your browser downloads.
Step-3: Now, we have to run the installer. Once Java installation wizard opens, click on the Next button. Again click on the Next button. if you want to install Java development kit in the default directory. If you want to customize it then click on click on change button & simply change the directory.
Step-4: After Clicking on next button your installation process has start. Now, it will again ask for the installation directory for JRE(Java Runtime Environment). Again we can continue with the default directory or change it accordingly.
Step-5: Congratulations! The Java installation will be successfully completed.
To check this we will open our windows Terminal. Type Java –version to verify that java is successfully download or not.
